Not only individual bread baskets and fancy trays can be woven with Rattan cane , but also lWreathsampshades or even torches. If light is to be used, please make sure to use a suitable bulb with a very low wattage, as this is a natural material.
Before use, soak it Rattan cane in lukewarm water for about 5 minutes to make it flexible. During braiding it is advisable to keep the Rattan cane-threads moist so that they do not break. The so-called "stakes" give the braid stability and shape and should therefore be chosen a little stronger than the threads to be processed
