This VBS Rattan cane natural, blue tape with a Ø of approx. 2.5 mm is great for braiding baskets and more. The blue ribbon serves as the highest quality feature and stands for a clean, smooth cut as well as uniform colour and very good durability.
From practical baskets and trays to torches and lampshades, many decorations can be woven. When using with light, make sure to use a suitable bulb with a very low wattage, as this is a natural material.
The Rattan cane blue ribbon should be soaked in lukewarm water for about 5 minutes before use to make it flexible. To prevent the Rattan cane-threads from breaking, they should always be kept moist during application. The so-called "stakes" give the braid stability and shape and should therefore be chosen a little stronger than the threads to be processed
