This is how you design the chicks:
1. Start by painting the terracotta pots with the buttercup colour. Paint the polystyrene balls in the same way.
To keep your hands clean, you can stick a bamboo skewer into the polystyrene balls before painting.
It is best to apply several coats of paint so that it covers well. The individual layers of paint should always be completely dry before applying another one.
2 Now glue the chick's head onto the terracotta pot. Then insert the beak and glue on the eyes. You can get creative here: In addition to eyebrows and eyelashes, use a fineliner to draw on smiling and winking eyes, for example!
3. To glue on the feet, shorten the legs to a few millimetres. Put a drop of craft glue on the feet and fix them to the inside of the terracotta pot.
4 Then glue on the pompom sleeves and put a straw hat on three of the chicks. Fix these to the heads with craft glue and then leave the glue to dry long enough.
5 Finally, glue on the colourful bows as desired - and your cute chicks are ready!
