VBS crackle varnish is a great painting medium for an effective antique look.
If surfaces coated with crackle varnish and dried are painted over with paint, the fascinating tear varnish effect is created by the "incompatibility" of the two layers of paint.

The varnish is suitable for all porous surfaces. A primer is required on smooth surfaces. Crackle Country can be colored with acrylic paints or Acquacolor.

Marabu Krakelee-Medium is a transparent medium, especially for the tear lacquer technique.
