Here's how:
Spray the frame of the chair with permanent spray. For our decoration example, we used the colour ivory. Apply a second coat of paint after the first drying time of about 30 minutes.
Unwind as much of the jute ribbon as you can comfortably work with. You can now start on the backrest or seat with this bundle. If the bundle runs out, simply unwind a new bundle and knot the two together. The knots can be easily hidden later.
Backrest:
In our decoration example, the backrest was designed from the top to about halfway with the jute ribbon. To do this, knot the jute ribbon on one side, fix it with a little hot glue if necessary and wrap it crosswise. By winding it crosswise, the backrest is more stable.
As soon as the desired length has been reached, knot the end of the cord tightly and fix it with hot glue as well.
