With this big, white rabbit everybody feels a little bit like "Alice in Wonderland". The wooden clock is covered with plush, the ears are sewn separately and fixed behind it. Just paint on the happy face and you are done.
Here's how it works
Remove the plate from the clock and glue Cotton fabric pink over the whole surface. After the glue has dried, cut off excess fabric.
Transfer the face onto the fabric with the help of the template and colour Handicraft paint it in.
Stretch the plush over the clock and cut a star shape for the cutout. Tack them Lace back and tack them on, cut the fabric further back if necessary.
With the help of the template make one Stencil for the rabbit ears. Transfer this with 1 cm seam allowance twice on the plush and the pink Cotton fabric and cut it out
Sew the ears right sides together and turn them over.
Twist two wires per ear to make a double-length wire. Bend at the junction and put it into the rabbit ears.
Fill the ears with cotton wool.
Mount the clockwork in the plate and put the hands on.
Glue the numbers on and staple the ears from behind.
Stick on numbers
So that the numbers are in the right place, I set the hands to 12 o'clock. Then I turn the big pointer one turn at a time and further stick the numbers exactly where the small pointer stops.
