Paint the pots in your desired colours. The best way to do this is with handicraft paint or outdoor paint. After drying, glue 5 x 2 small pots together with their openings. These later form the snail shell.
Then glue 2 of the smaller pots bottom to bottom. These are the centre of the snail shell. Now glue the 5 pots together using hot glue around the middle pot.
For the neck, glue one pot to the edge of the snail shell and two more diagonally into it. Paint the wooden ball for the head with your desired colour.
Bend the feelers from winding wire and fix them with hot glue in the hole of the wooden ball. Cut off the tenon from the eyes with a sharp pair of scissors and glue it to the wooden ball with hot glue. Draw nose and mouth with a black permanent marker. Glue the heads in the opening of the last neck-pot.
