Let yourself be seduced by this original edding creative idea for your own painting projects. The step-by-step instructions show you how easy it is to capture your own ideas on the stretcher and paint them out.

Material
You will need a canvas, edding acrylic markers and a matching idea.

For the picture with the blood orange, it is best to use a stretcher frame in the format 24 x 30 cm, the edding acrylic marker set 5400 "Acryl 3D-Basic", Double Liner, set of 5 and the motif of a blood orange as a template.
1. Transfer motif template
Simply place the template behind the stretcher frame. Hold it against the light so that the motif shines through the stretcher and transfer the contours with a pencil.
2. Coloring
Color the picture area by area. The acrylic 3D-Basic acrylic markers from edding are ideal for painting. They have two felt tips: a 2 - 3 mm round tip and a 5 - 10 mm calligraphy tip.

3. Flat painting

To give the image a spatial look, a shadow is painted with dark color.

4. Shading for optical depth

Apply a darker acrylic paint to a light colored area, possibly smudging it a bit with a cloth.
5. Bright highlights
Optical highlights are painted on the dried acrylic image with light color.
6. Let the picture dry & hang it up
