A great gift for loved ones or for yourself: self-poured, nourishing soaps. In this tutorial, we show you how to cast soaps with a relief with little effort and then package them beautifully.
Recipe for 6 bars of soap:
300 g VBS Eco Pouring Soap, white 2 tbsp shea butter 1 tbsp cocoa butter chips 1 tbsp soap lather concentrate 15 drops of fragrance oil (can be varied as desired) 2 drops of soap colouring, increase by 2-3 drops per mould for the colour gradient.
1. First melt the pouring soap and then add shea butter and cocoa butter chips.
2. After everything has melted, add the soap foam concentrate and fragrance oil and mix everything together well.
3. Pour the liquid mixture into the mould and add soap colour to taste. We did not add any colour to the first mould and gradually intensified the colour in each subsequent mould.
Tip: If you want relief in the soap, stick a silicone stamp of your choice in the bottom of the soap mould before pouring in the soap. Use double-sided adhesive tape for this.
4. After 24 hours, you can remove the soap bars from the mould and remove the silicone stamps using a pin.
5. Would you like to give the soap bars as a gift? In our decoration example, we laid out a metal box with kraft paper using the templates and also decorated the lid with kraft paper, Raffia stamps and dried flowers.
