This is how the turtle is modelled:
Start by mixing and working with the Plastiform according to the instructions. Now work on a silicone or plastic base to avoid contaminating your work surface.
First model the individual limbs. Place them on the acrylic ball and press them on so that the limbs "stick" to the ball. Then model the carapace around half the acrylic sphere. The 3D structures on the tank are modelled and placed separately. It is best to work with the modelling tools to close or join the transitions of the individual parts.
After the drying time of approx. 48 hours, you can design your turtle according to your wishes. In our example, the turtle was painted with light blue craft paint and the shell structures were embellished with Crackle Mosaic. To do this, apply mosaic glue to the desired area and then stick on pieces of the crackle mosaic panel with the help of a spatula.
