How to make the bird bath:
1. Paint the outside of the terracotta pot with your chosen craft colour. In our example, we chose the colour pastel olive green.
2. Wrap the cotton cord around the wreath in four places and knot the strands together. Cut 4 long cords, pull them through the wrapped strands and knot them each at the same height.
3. For the hanging, double all the cords at the top to make a loop and wrap it around using the winding knot technique. To do this, lay all the cords straight, take one of the long cords and lay it in a U-shape over the bundle - the guide cords. Wrap the long end of the working cord around the guide cords until the desired length is reached. Pull the end of the working cord through the loop and carefully pull the upper end of the working cord upwards until the loop disappears under the wrapping. Cut off both ends of the working lines.
