Noble handicraft fun with Décopatch paper
First cut the
Décopatch papers to the individual surfaces of the box. Prime the box lid with white craft color.
As soon as the primer is dry, coat the top of the lid with
Paperpatch glue. Now you can gradually cover the individual areas of the star lid with the paper. This works best with a brush. Protruding paper can be corrected with a scalpel. Also glue the side walls of the lid.
Coat the outside walls of the box bottom and the underside of the lid with a fine golden paint. Finally, arrange a ribbon together with some fir green and small bells on the lid and fix the decoration with glue. Afterwards, apply craft glue to the entire surface. This serves as a protective layer and ensures a smooth surface.
Extra tip: If the paper contours are not perfect, you can refine the look by painting over these contours with a white or golden liner.
