Cold glaze package, 500 ml

The cold glaze pack, 500 ml, consists of 2 components, resin and hardener. The mixing ratio is 1:1 and it is a transparent, thin liquid glaze, which can be additionally coloured with resin tinting colours as desired. An adhesive coating that adheres to glass, ceramics, wood, metal, Polystyrene, leather and textiles. While the glaze is very thin-bodied after mixing and is suitable for impregnating textiles, fleece or glass fibre fabrics, the viscosity changes with time and becomes thicker. In the end, it can even be applied to vertically standing objects. The pre-reaction time is about 30-40 minutes. Then the glaze is slightly viscous and can be applied on boxes or brooches up to 2 mm high. This process gives the surfaces a fantastic depth effect, which looks like enamel.

This glaze offers many sophisticated design effects such as dripping and gradient techniques, decorating with coloured glazes, creating wonderful colour gradients and streak effects. In the flaming technique, the coated glaze surface is held over a burning flame for 1-2 seconds, then turned upside down and placed horizontally. In this way, the glaze surface is covered with a delicate black layer of soot, which partially breaks up and thus reveals a fantastic appearance.
