Decorations with metal rings are a big trend and eye-catcher. In this example, however, not only baubles are used, but the whole thing is combined with fir greenery and a second ring is also used.

The metal ring

For the base, glue the metal ring onto the tree disc using hot glue. As long as the glue has not cooled down completely, you should support the ring. Then pluck the individual twigs from the bundle and remove the thick end.

First use the twigs to hide the glue spot on the wooden disc and then glue the ring piece by piece. At the base, the branches can go in all directions. On the ring, you should only work in one direction.

The conifer

Once you have attached enough greenery to the ring, wrap the fairy lights around the ring. It is best to start where the small and large rings meet at the top - on the right in the picture. From there, go around the small ring once and then continue to the large ring. Finally, you can hide the battery compartment behind the pine greenery.

The balls

The last step is to glue on the ball. Remove the wire and fix it with hot glue as close as possible to the greenery/wire.
If necessary, you can now also hide the glued areas with pine greenery.
