The small Christmas trees Felt can easily be made together with children and the green Christmas tree garland is also practical and can be used as a small or for a Christmas Advent Calendar card collection.

Christmas tree garland
The basis for every Christmas tree is a clothespin. First, make a fir tree-Stencil: Simply draw a narrow triangle (fir tree shape), cut it into three parts and use each of them as a motif template for cutting the felt

Each Fir consists of a fir tree top in light green craft felt, the fir tree middle in medium green and a lower part in dark green craft felt. All three parts are now glued Handicraft glue onto a clothespin, other fir trees are made according to the same principle.

Finally clamp all the fir trees on a string.

Miniature fir trees from Felt

Preparation
The small fir trees each consist of a bark disc base. An approx. 1 cm wide felt strip is required for each fir tree. These are Felt sheets cut out. The length of one of Felt sheet 40 cm is unfortunately not quite sufficient. Simply glue two felt strips together at the narrow edge

Threading
On an approx. 10 cm long piece of aluminium wire, the felt strip is alternated with Wood beads strung up into a Christmas tree. If it is Felt not so easy to pierce, Awl simply help with this. Once the top of the tree is reached, simply cut off the rest of the felt strips. Glue the wire at the bottom into the predrilled hole of the bark disc and decorate the top with a final star of both.
