Faber-Castell is a German stationery manufacturer that was founded in 1761. To this day, the company has established itself as a leader in the coloured pencils and pencils sector and has gained a firm place in this market. Today, Faber-Castell is run by the ninth generation of the family and has locations on four continents. With around 8,000 employees, the company has sales companies in some 22 countries and commercial agencies in over 120 countries. This makes the crayon and pencil manufacturer the largest in the world. The company also owns the world's largest crayon factory in São Carlos, Brazil, with an annual production of 1.5 billion pencils.
