Crafting and decorating is always a great pleasure during the Christmas season. You can easily make our accordion angel in just a few steps and with very little material. This craft is also perfect for children. So you have individually crafted angels for your Christmas tree, as a gift or to add a personal touch to a present.
This is how you fold the angels:
First cut your papers to size. For an angel you need paper cuttings of 14 x 14 cm and 6 x 6 cm.
Fold both pieces of paper so that they are folded at regular intervals like a haromika and the folds are well pressed. For the dress, fold the paper in the middle again and glue it together. Punch a hole in the top with the hole punch.
For the wings, punch the centre of the paper with the hole punch and glue the folds together in the centre with a little glue.
Now pull the perlon thread through the dress and knot it. Pull the wings on and glue them to the middle of the dress.
Now string the beads or the wooden ball one after the other and fix them with glue. Finally, tie a knot and use the rest of the thread as a hanger.
If you wish, you can paint a face on the angels with markers. We have chosen the classic simple version without a face for our angels.
